Admission Process

On first-cum-first serve basis

Eligibility Criteria for all course

Any citizen of India aged between 14 to 45 years may join the following training courses. The age will be counted on the date of schedule of courses.

1. Trekking Courses at IISM, Branch at Jammu Region

   Essential Qualification : High school. No medical ailments and physically fit to endure long walks with personal load in high altitude areas.

   Intake : 20 students per course.

   Course Fee : Rs. 5000/-

2. Hot Air Ballooning Courses in Jammu Region

   Essential Qualification : High School. A flair for Aero sports.

   Intake : 25 students per course.

   Course Fee : Rs. 5000/-

3. Snow Skiing Courses at Kargil

   Intake : 40 students per course, combined in all three categories of course

   Course Fee : Rs. 5000 will be charged/ student and fee is not exempted for domicile of Ladakh.

4. Snow Skiing Courses at Gulmarg

   Course Fee : Rs. 10000/- for below 25 years & Rs.20000/- for others.

Course Fee

IISM courses are highly subsidized and despite state of the art accommodation and administration the courses fee is very low for Indian citizens. Exact fee is decided after receiving the sanction from Ministry of Tourism from time to time. The same is notified during the booking of courses. Fee includes cost of boarding, lodging, training and ski equipment. The course fee once deposited is strictly non- refundable/non-transferable.

Water Skiing Courses in Manasbal Lake, Gandarbal District Rs. 5000/- per course.

Trekking Courses at IISM, Branch at Jammu Region Rs. 5000/- per course.

Hot Air Ballooning Courses in Jammu Region Rs. 5000/- per course.

Snow Skiing Courses at Gulmarg Rs. 10000/- for below 25 years & Rs.20000/- for others

Snow Skiing Courses at Kargil Rs. 5000 will be charged/ student and fee is not exempted for domicile of Ladakh.
