Notice
Applications are invited from eligible and experienced candidates/instructors for temporary/seasonal engagement at the Indian Institute of Skiing & Mountaineering, Gulmarg, for conduct of the following adventure and mountaineering courses:
- Basic Mountaineering Course
- Water Skiing Course
- Trekking Course
- River Rafting Course
- Snow Skiing / Snow Boarding
Eligibility Criteria:-
The candidate must possess, at minimum, a advance Mountaineering Course Certificate with Grade “A” and Method of Instruction (MOI) from a Government-recognized institution.
Candidates applying for Snow Skiing/Snow boarding , Water Skiing, and Trekking must have successfully completed Basic, Intermediate, and Advance Courses with Grade “A” from Government-recognized institutions only.
The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant field/activity.
The candidate should have sound knowledge of safety protocols and ability to manage trainees in difficult and challenging terrain/environment.
The candidate should possess good communication skills in Hindi and English.
The candidate shall submit a physical fitness certificate and latest medical fitness certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner.
Age limit: 20 to 45 years
Age relaxation may be considered for retired Government and Defence personnel as per rules
Preference shall be given to candidates having prior experience in institutional training programmes.
Selection Process:-
Selection shall be made on the basis of scrutiny of applications, verification of certificates, and performance in the interview.
Only shortlisted applicants fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria and found suitable after scrutiny shall be called for interview.
Mere submission of application shall not confer any right to engagement.
Terms and Conditions
Engagement shall be purely temporary/seasonal and limited to the duration of the specific course(s).
Remuneration shall be admissible as per institutional norms.
Engagement shall be subject to verification of credentials, fulfillment of eligibility conditions, and approval of the competent authority.
The Institute reserves the right to cancel, modify, or withdraw this notice at any stage without assigning any reason.
